Hi. I'm Eli.
In my work as a couples therapist, this is the most common and heartbreaking pattern I see-
Two people who deeply care for each other, yet remain stuck in cycles of miscommunication, disconnection, and emotional distance.
-
One partner shuts down.
-
The other becomes critical.
-
Both are hurting.
The harder they try to reach each other, the more misunderstood they feel.

Sound familiar?
Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you or your relationship.
It’s about helping you feel seen, heard, and understood
so you can create the kind of connection that heals from the inside out.

A Specialty Close to My Heart:
Cancer Patient & Caregiver Support for Couples & Individuals
Because of my personal experience as a caregiver, I am especially passionate about working with couples dealing with cancer. I know how traumatic cancer can be and am empathetic to the impact it has on couples.
_____
Most couples don’t fall apart because they stop loving each other. They drift apart because they stop feeling safe with each other. The cycle of disconnection can become even more intense when a couple is facing something life-altering like a cancer diagnosis. Suddenly, everything changes, and even the smallest conflict can feel like the end of the world.

When cancer enters the relationship, emotions run high and roles shift quickly. One person may become a caregiver while managing their own fear and grief. The other may feel like a burden or become emotionally withdrawn. Instead of moving closer, many couples find themselves isolated in a paradox of feeling alone together. The pain of this disconnection can be terrifyingly heavy.

That’s where I come in.
What Guides My Work
At the core of my work is the belief that emotional safety is the foundation of a resilient relationship. Using the science-backed model of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples uncover the patterns that keep them stuck and guide them toward new patterns of connection. Because many people show up for therapy when life feels too big to handle alone, I bring an intentionally calm and caring presence. I believe that therapy is meant to be a safe place where you can grow through compassionate experiences while being guided by a professional who always has your best interests in mind.
With me, you’ll learn how to:
-
speak each other’s emotional language
-
respond to each other’s needs
-
rebuild trust even in the face of fear, illness, and uncertainty

In my work with cancer patients and caregivers, I offer a supportive space to process the emotional complexity of your journey.
Through a combination of talk therapy, mind-body techniques, and clinical hypnosis, I help people:
-
reduce anxiety
-
find clarity
-
reconnect with their internal sense of strength and purpose

If you’re ready to move beyond survival mode and start building a relationship rooted in safety, connection, and emotional intimacy, even in the midst of crisis, I’m here to help.
