Navigating Ethical Non-Monogamy
People often come to me when they’re feeling
disconnected.
You're surrounded by people but still feel isolated and lonely
You feel helpless, guilty, and self-doubting in parenting instead of present during the little magical moments.
You're desperate to make your relationship work and fearful about what it means if it doesn't.

My role is to provide the space for you to walk through ideas, tools, and strategies together and learn to truly see each other for the first time in a long time.
Types of Therapy I Provide
Couples Therapy
A place where partners can slow down the cycles that take over conversations, learn how to listen without defending, and practice responding from values instead of frustration
Family Therapy
Work that looks at the whole system, noticing how everyone influences one another in real time and helping families replace familiar reactions with choices that actually fit who they want to be
Child Therapy
A place where children can be free to show what is happening inside through play, while learning that their feelings make sense and that adults can understand them
Teen Therapy
Support that treats teens as the experts on their own lives, helping them put words to what feels overwhelming and build confidence in who they are becoming
Individual Therapy
A space to get honest about what keeps pulling you off course and to sort out what belongs to you versus what you learned to carry, with questions that help you see yourself clearly instead of through old expectations
My Therapeutic Approach: What Our Work Together Will Feel Like

Heartfelt, Meaningful, & Honest
What happens when couples start reconnecting again in therapy?
"It's emotional - the joy that comes after working through something really hard. You can see the emotion on them. You can see that they've actually seen each other for the first time in who knows how long. There's a magical moment when that happens. It's emotional for me, too."
Collaboration & Personalization: Where Expertise & Empowerment Meet
I've had therapists make assumptions before really getting to know me. What does personalized therapy actually look like?
"I'm curious about how you are as a person, how you live, things that bring you joy, what's challenging you in your life, and what's bringing you to the therapy office. Really taking what we speak about and guiding you through so that you can be your own guide through this too, not just me always having to do it, but help you walk your path."

The "Secret Sauce": A Genuinely Safe Space to Take Risks
What makes therapy actually work?
"It's vulnerability. It's being really scared and still doing it. For someone to be walled off and then finally choose to be vulnerable, I find that so beautiful. It lights me up."
The Disarming & Transforming Power of Words
The last time we did couples therapy, it seemed like it would make things worse after every session. How does therapy improve communication and not just become another place to fight?
"We're not in our partners' brains. We don't know how their minds work, the stories they tell themselves, or how they've experienced the world. I feel like humor in the right context can be really great in the therapy office. I use humor, analogies, and metaphors to help people see things from a different perspective."

"Clear is Kind": Accepting, Transparent, & Unapologetically Human
What happens if I don't follow through on the things we talk about in therapy?
"I believe in 'clear is kind.' I value transparency when it's needed and a sprinkle of self-disclosure if it feels fitting in the moment. I'm a person, too—not just a blank slate. I think direct, clear communication upfront is important so that you understand my expectations, and I understand yours. You're allowed to be human and make mistakes and not do your homework, and I'm still going to sit here with you every single week."
